The North area committee meeting
for the new Northumberland County Council will take place on Monday
9 November, 6pm at the new venue of Bamburgh Cricket
Club
The meeting will cover council business for
the Alnwick, Berwick, Morpeth and Amble areas with decisions made
by 22 councillors.
Members of the public are invited to attend
and will be able to submit questions during a public
question time. Alternately they can forward questions to Mike
Bird in Democratic Services, County Hall, Morpeth, NE61 2EF
or email mike.bird@northumberland.gov.uk
and these will be raised at the meeting.
Items on the agenda include discussion of
ambulance response times in rural Northumberland with a
representative from North East Ambulance Service in
attendance. There will also be an update on the car parking
situation in Bamburgh. Kirsten Francis, Locality Development
Manager will present a progress report on the development of
Community Forums in Northumberland. There will also be a
progress report on Member’s Local Improvement Schemes.
